I bought this because my Maltese is super pink, even under an umbrella he gets a little burned (as most humans). I don’t have to worry about him being outdoors and people watching on a gorgeous day. Otherwise, it’s a good purchase.

My greyhound, Eddie, has multiple chronic medical issues, including lupus. By the time he was diagnosed, it was not unusual for the skin on the surface of his nose to loosen and fall off. It was painful for him and I felt helpless. I asked his vet if something like sunscreen existed for dogs and she said yes and it couldn't hurt to use something on Eddie's nose. Epi-Sun, being a spray, could be applied without my having to touch his nose, which would cause him to flinch, so I knew it hurt. The combination of medication and Epi-Sun has gotten Eddie to the point where he has not had an outbreak in more than a year. I gave Epi-Pet to a friend who just brought home a new puppy. I don't want him to suffer sunburn on his adorably pink nose.

My Dane loves going on the boat with us but she has really thin hair and burns easily. After searching reviews and reading ingredients I decided to try Epi-Pet. Works perfectly! Dries quickly and easy to apply on a 100 pound dog that refuses sun safety.

With all the unsafe chemicals out there for our dogs....my vet said this is one of the bests. i totally agree when comparing other sunscreens out there. dont be fooled. this works exactly how it says to work. easy fast applying. best to put into ur hands THEN put on dogs body getting nose and ears. the smell is like the good old tanning lotiins from the past...the beach smell... yummy

We mainly got this for our dogs noses & ears. (Black Labs) With no signs of sunburn, I can only assume it worked. Its priced high for a small amount. Wouldnt have lasted long if spraying the whole dog. Neither of them cared for it on their noses but no bad reactions, just dirty looks & lots of licking. We got it for a beach trip so I would have to recommend if your pup in going to be in the sun any length of time.

I bought this to use on my horse's nose which I have had a problem with getting sunburned. Most of the products I have tried were very greasy and attracted dirt when he was in the pasture. While browsing in Chewy, I saw this and gave it a try. It works great, is non-greasy, leaving his nose clean and protected. Note: This is a spray application. My horse is a dream and lets me spray it on his nose.

My dog is afraid of the spray noise, so I had to spray onto my hand and apply. It seemed to work okay and didn't bother her after it dried. She just ended up allergic to it and broke out in hives wherever it was applied. So I recommend this if your dog isn't allergic to any of the ingredients.

A friend of mine recently shaved all the hair off her matted/dirty little dog. I bought this product for her to protect her little dog from severe sunburn and related skin problems. In this case, the product is being used to lessen the consequences of pet owner stupidity!

My dog had a suspicious mole removed from her tummy. She loves to lay out in the sun on her back. It was a form of sarcoma, from the sun. So.....of course I am going to buy sunscreen. This is waterproof and easy to apply. Love it!
